Expansive verandahs provide spectacular views across the Hunter region either to the Barrington Tops, one of Australia's largest and awe-inspiring National Parks, or to the Pacific Ocean.

Guests can discover our mountaintop wilderness resort in a variety of ways. On foot, in kayak, mountain bikes or self-drive Discovery Buggies. Every day can be an adventure from the accessible private rainforest, to the lookout at the Mount George Trig Station. A full security entry ensures total privacy and no day-trippers.

The resort’s facilities include swimming pool, tennis court health & fitness centre 15 station exersite childrens play centre, a games room and a series of dams for yabbying. Goonarook Lagoon is another superb location for swimming, kayaking and a challenge to those who care to throw out a line for sport fishing. All non motorised equipment and activities are complementary as is the internet kiosk and DVD library.

Eaglereach Bistro is fully licensed. Breakfast is served from 8.00am to 9.30am daily or by hamper. Drinks in the Bar from 5.30pm. Dinner is served from 6.00pm each evening Tuesday to Saturday inclusive (excluding Sunday & Monday nights) and reservations are essential. Featured is an a la carte menu with seasonal changes as well as chefs` specials and vegetarian options. A range of Takeaway hampers, fish & chips, Hunter wines and Australian beers, plus pizzas are also available (Takeaway must be ordered 24hrs prior)
